About me
I am a graduate of Springfield College (class of '00) and received my Master's Degree from Salem State University. I have been a teacher since 2001 and have been teaching at Malden since 2003. I have also coached Wrestling, Football, and Baseball. The goals I have for my students are focused on safety, fitness, specifically learning and enjoying activities that they can use outside of Physical Education class. My curriculum units run the gamut from conventional sports such as baseball, basketball, and volleyball, to unconventional activities like Frisbee golf, and capture the flag. While it is important that my students learn the mechanics of each sport, I find it equally important for them to have the chance to have fun and get a break from traditional academics.
